More than seven million people reside within a 75-mile radius of Youngstown, which is located in northeastern Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Youngstown is a revitalized, mid-sized city which offers a high quality of life to its residents.

Youngstown offers many recreational, cultural and social outlets including the Butler Institute of American Art, the Youngstown Playhouse and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. An hour drive to either Cleveland or Pittsburgh will also take you to a variety of art, music, theater and dance activities. Youngstown's own Mill Creek Park attracts families and visitors year-round. Nature trails and Fellows Riverside Gardens are great places for recreation, relaxation and family fun.

For the sports enthusiasts, an array of spectator sports is available in Youngstown. The Youngstown State University football team is a source of community pride, earning several Division 1-AA National Championship titles. Professional football's Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers; major league baseball's Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates; minor league baseball's Mahoning Valley Scrappers; Pittsburgh Penguins hockey; and Cleveland Cavaliers basketball provide nearby sporting entertainment.

There are excellent country clubs and golf courses located within a 10-mile radius. Youngstown also offers numerous lakes and reservoirs for fishing and boating, 14 shopping centers and three malls, and several health, racquetball and tennis clubs.
